South Pole, a globally recognised expert in climate solutions and a recent winner of the GEF Challenge Program, is excited to join the Coalition for the Private Investment in Conservation (CPIC) as the new platform coordinator.
“We know we need to catalyse investments for conservation at scale,” says Martin Stadelmann, Director Funds & Platforms at South Pole. “But this cannot happen without a dedicated platform for enabling conditions to bring on board private finance. CPIC is filling a fundamental gap and we are very proud to join other members in driving this agenda. 2020 will be the biodiversity year!”.
South Pole will be responsible for the coordination of the platform and for developing outreach activities.
